Privacy Policy

Roast My Rep ("the App", "we", "us") is developed by Leon Johnstone. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it's used, and your choices.

What we collect

• Video you upload: When you submit a video for analysis, the App extracts a small number of still frames on your device and sends them to our backend, which forwards them to Anthropic's Claude AI API to generate your coaching report. We do not store your video or the extracted frames on our servers — they are used only to generate your report and are not retained afterward. Anthropic's handling of data sent to its API is governed by Anthropic's own privacy policy.
• Profile information: Your name (optional), fitness level, and training goals, if you choose to provide them. This is stored locally on your device only.
• Analysis history: Your coaching reports, ratings, and a low-resolution copy of the clip you submitted are stored locally on your device so you can track your progress over time. This data is not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
• Diagnostic and usage data: We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics (Google) to help us find and fix bugs and understand overall app usage. This is aggregated and not used to identify you personally, and is not used for advertising.
• Subscription information: Subscriptions are purchased and managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us with a signed transaction receipt that we use only to confirm your subscription is active.

What we don't do

• We do not require you to create an account.
• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your data for advertising or ad targeting.
• We do not share your video, coaching reports, or profile information with anyone other than the AI provider strictly necessary to generate your report (see above).

Your choices

Because the App doesn't use accounts, most of your data lives only on your device. You can delete it at any time by deleting individual sessions in the app, or by uninstalling the App, which removes all locally stored data. To cancel your subscription, use the Manage Subscription option in the app's Settings, or manage it directly through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Children's privacy

Roast My Rep is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
